All Events were held at West County Hotel, Conference & Leisure Centre, Clare Road, Ennis.
We were honoured to have our International President, Kay K. Fukushima attend our Convention. He and his lovely wife Denise arrived on Thursday and left us on Sunday.
During their stay, we had the opportunity to show the International President three
of the projects that our Club have been involved in.
The first project was the Ennis General Hospital, where our Club donated money which was used to purchase equipment and subsequently beds, for the Intensive Care Unit.
Our second visit was to the Clarecastle Daycare Centre, where our Club was heavily involved in raising the seed capital to build the centre and also purchased a special bath for the Centre.
Our third visit was to St. Joseph's Hospital where we intend to contribute €25,000 towards developing a garden for use by the long term residents of the Hospital.
